ABOUT
Long Point Pottery Co.

Welcome to Long Point Pottery Co., where vintage meets clay and every reveal of cast ceramic is a step into artful nostalgia.

I'm Erin, the creator behind Long Point Pottery Co., and what began as a fascination with retro slip‑casting molds quickly became an arty passion. On TikTok, I share what I call Retro Reveals, a series where I search out vintage molds, slip‑cast them, then pour and bisque before decorating—often with lustre or flux glazes—to bring them back to life in new forms.

My process is hands‑on and rooted in curiosity: hunting second‑hand molds, testing glaze combinations, and documenting each creation in studio videos that highlight the journey from raw slurry to finished piece. Whether it’s a retro frog sponge‑holder or a vintage Christmas tree mold, I aim to combine nostalgia and craftsmanship in functional decor and keepsakes for your home. Our website focuses on offering you these vintage Holiday based products for your own bit of nostalgia.

What Makes Some Pieces Special:

  • Vintage molds: Each episode begins with uncovering an often-forgotten mold that carries history.

  • Slip‑casting revival: I slip‑cast these shapes anew—preserving vintage forms but giving them fresh finishes.

  • Modern finishes: Glazes are selected to enhance form with unpredictable, beautiful surface effect

My Mission

At Long Point Pottery Co., my mission is to merge the tactile heritage of vintage ceramics with a playful, modern reinterpretation. I honor these older forms by casting them again and giving them a new persona through glazes, textures, and design intent.

Studio Life & Community

  • Filming in my studio, I invite viewers "Welcome to The Studio"—a visual and tactile experience of creation, glaze testing, and casting reveals.

  • I believe in transparency—not just of materials, but of practice. Viewers get a raw look into what works, what surprises appear, and how vintage forms are translated today.

Thanks for Being Here

I’m thrilled you’re stopping by. Whether you’re browsing my finished pieces or enjoying the process videos online, I hope Long Point Pottery Co. offers a slice of creative wonder, a spark of nostalgia, and something truly handmade to bring into your life.
